A graduate from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Higher School of Engineering in Opole. He held management positions in power companies as President of ZE Opole S.A. and Vice-President of EnergiaPro KE S.A. and Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. He participated in the formation of the TAURON group structure. He deals with the functioning of the power market, the issues of stability of the work of the national power system, the issues of investment and exploitation of power grids, management in competition and regulation conditions. A member of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Economy (now the Ministry of Energy) for system solutions in the energy sector, an expert of the National Centre for Research and Development, an expert of the European Commission for Research, a Senior Member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), a member of PKWSE CIGRE, PTETiS , PTPiREE and two Sections of the Committee on Electrical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
