Prof. PhD, Eng. – a graduate from the Electrical Faculty at the Łódź University of Technology. In the years 1991–2001, advisor, lecturer and associate professor in Melbourne, Singapore and Canada. Professor at the Institute of Electric Power Engineering. A member of the European Energy Institute and the International Business Council: Grid & Infrastructure in Essen. For many years he worked as an advisor to the government of the Republic of Poland, the Minister of Economy, a CEO of Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. In the years 2007–2011 he was responsible for the development of international connections of cross-border power systems in Northern and Central Europe as the European Energy Coordinator at DG Energy. He is the founder of the annual conference "European Energy Markets", the largest international conference in this field.
